What do patients and clinics need to use Joyn?
Patients use the Joyn mobile app on their own smartphone. Rheumatology care teams access Joyn through a web dashboard.
How much does Joyn cost?
Joyn uses per-patient pricing, so costs scale with the number of patients you monitor.
No dedicated hardware. No large upfront software investment.
Volume pricing is available for larger healthcare organisations.
Ask us about pricing or request a demo.
Does Joyn replace clinical appointments?
No. Joyn is not designed to replace clinical appointments, physical examinations or laboratory testing. It gives rheumatologists structured, regular information about how their patients are doing between appointments, so you can decide when an in-person appointment may be needed.
Does Joyn make a diagnosis or assess disease activity?
No. Joyn records and displays the information patients submit. Clinical interpretation remains with the healthcare professional.
Who in the care team can use Joyn?
Rheumatologists, nurses and clinical assistants can all use Joyn to support patient review, communication and scheduling, according to the clinic’s own workflow. Not every patient update needs to land directly with a rheumatologist.
How often do patients submit information?
Patients submit their information each week. After starting or changing treatment, this gives you a longitudinal view of what happens over the following weeks rather than only at the next follow-up.
Can remote care supported by Joyn be reimbursed?
Remote review and consultation are already recognised within healthcare reimbursement systems. Which pathways apply depends on the service provided, the technology used and applicable payer requirements.
